Superpowers: tolerating horrifying amounts of sugar; creating mountains out of molehills; making anyone present immediately feel better about themselves, especially when I dance; generating massive amounts of clutter in astonishingly little time. Weaknesses: personality unrecognizably altered by sleep deprivation; the most rigidly inflexible person ever to attempt a yoga class; cannot resist tall intellectual boys in dark-framed spectacles and turtleneck sweaters. Guilty pleasures: girly cocktails; fashion magazines; Eurotrash dance music; detective novels; watching others suffer in televised endurance races while sitting comfortably on sofa.

Thanks! The bridge is only blocked to keep livestock from crossing. The plank sticking out is called a stile, and you step up on it to get over the fence. They use them a lot in England, because many walking/hiking routes go through farms.
this one is really, really nice.
